
Justin Olusegun Grants Programme
We’re super excited to help aspiring black leaders fulfill their professional goals with our grants programme. The grants’ purpose is to support individuals who are unemployed or underemployed that might otherwise find it difficult to pay for support, courses, or items needed to get their dream job. You can use this grant to pay for courses, software, support and etc, as long as you can demonstrate that it helps your professional career you can apply. Please note we will be paying on your behalf for what you request in the applications form.
Each successful individual will be awarded a grant of between £200-£2000. In addition to the grant, The Justin Olusegun Foundation will be offering professional CV writing services to 50 people who apply.
We hope that access to the grants inspires ideas, innovation, and creativity.
Who can apply:
UK-based individuals only
Individuals aged 18-25
Individuals must be from a Black, Mixed African, or Caribbean background
Those from low-income backgrounds (Household income below £25,000)
Application Process
Complete the Online Application Form
Applications will be considered by our Internal Grants Committee, and individuals to be selected for a 30mins interview to go over their needs by Tuesday 13th July 2021.
Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their applications.
Additional Terms
Successful applicants will need to produce a summary budget of how the grant was spent.
Successful applicants will need to produce evidence of how the grant supported their professional development by 18:00 31st December 2021
Successful applicants must be able to supply details of the provider of the courses, software, support or etc.
Applications close on Wednesday 30th June 2021, 23:59 GMT.
Successful applicants will be notified by Sunday 31st July 2021
